One platform, all insights
For Dufour, having remote visibility over the entire fleet was crucial. Through Webfleet, the organisation now has access to, among other things:
Vehicle locations and routes
Driving and rest times (in line with tachograph data)
Fuel consumption and technical issue alerts
Tyre pressure and scheduled maintenance
These insights make it possible to schedule maintenance proactively, monitor driving behaviour, and minimise downtime — all from a single, user-friendly dashboard.
Unique integrations for cranes
In collaboration with ARC, Webfleet developed a customised solution for Dufour’s cranes. These are equipped with a safety system that prevents lifting beyond the maximum permitted weight.
A common risk is that this system is temporarily disabled during certain manoeuvres, but then forgotten to be reactivated. Thanks to the integration with Webfleet, this can now be monitored remotely — and crane operators can be alerted if necessary.
Safety in high winds: a first
Another innovative development: the integration of wind meters with Webfleet. Since operating a crane in high winds is dangerous, it was important for Dufour to be able to access this data quickly.
ARC developed a dedicated integration between the wind meter and the platform specifically for Dufour. As a result, Dufour can now:
Monitor wind data in real time
Alert in unsafe conditions
Share data with customers or insurers in the event of incidents
