After your conviction, you will receive an official notice from the Public Prosecutor’s Office. From that point onwards, you are required to surrender your driving licence to the court within the specified deadline.
Next, you must contact a recognised guidance institution. Within 14 calendar days, a counsellor will schedule an initial meeting to explain the programme, its cost, and the next steps.
The alcohol interlock must then be installed by an authorised service centre. If you choose ARC, the device will be delivered directly to us and professionally installed in your vehicle by our specialists by appointment.
After installation, you will receive a certificate allowing you to apply for a new driving licence with code 69 from your local municipality. This code indicates that you are only permitted to drive vehicles equipped with an alcohol interlock device.
During the measure, the alcohol interlock is periodically checked so that the supervising organisation can monitor your breath test results. You can easily schedule an appointment with our planning team for this. Each check takes no more than 15 minutes.
At the end of the measure, we remove the alcohol interlock. If you purchased the device, you may choose to keep it in your vehicle.
Important: ARC is responsible only for the technical aspects of the alcohol interlock — installation, periodic data checks, calibration, and removal. All other aspects remain under the responsibility of the competent authorities.
