On 12 March 1973, Guy Mulders founded Auto Radio Center — the beginning of an extraordinary business story. What started as a specialist in car radios quickly grew into a franchise network with 21 stores across Belgium. From the very start, ARC was renowned for its technical expertise, customer focus, and passion for innovation.
From car radios to connectivity pioneer
Over the decades, our offering evolved in step with technological progress. We expanded our expertise from car radios to car alarm systems, mobile radios, and later to GSM and track & trace solutions.
When GSM technology was introduced in Belgium, we were among the first partners of Proximus — and grew to become one of their key B2B players.
From retail to B2B specialist
With the handover from father Guy to son Nicolas Mulders, a new chapter in our history began. Nicolas transformed ARC from a retail chain into a fully B2B-oriented organisation. The focus shifted to professional telecom solutions and advanced vehicle tracking systems.
In 2018, our telecom activities were transferred to Ufirst, allowing us to fully focus on where ARC truly makes a difference: reliable and innovative solutions for fleet management, security, and vehicle technology.
Today: smart technology for a safe and efficient future
Today, ARC consists of a dedicated team of 12 experts who work every day on shaping the future of mobility. Our solutions help companies manage their vehicles, machinery, and staff in a smarter, safer, and more efficient way.
We are proud of the role we play in supporting our customers with fleet monitoring, securing cargo, and professionally integrating electronics into vehicles.
